This 32-quart MonoTub is set up for bulk growing with any mushroom spawn of your choice. This bin will work best with 6 to 12 half-pint jars of your desired spawn.
This MonoTub comes with a plastic liner for 2 reasons; 1) It allows for a quick and easy cleanup after harvest and 2) It prevents mushrooms from growing out on the sides and bottom of your bin (which would make them impossible, or at least very difficult, to harvest).
There are (6) 2" holes drilled around the top of the bin which are covered with micropore tape on the interior. On the exterior, the same holes are covered with duct tape. The reason for the double taping is this; While your bin is colonizing there shouldn't be any FAE (Fresh Air Exchange), the duct tape prevents this from happening. Once your bin is fully colonized and it is ready for FAE - the duct tape can simply be pulled off and your breathable micropore tape will already be there in place doing its job. Beneath the duct tape we place a non-sticky paper separator so that the duct tape does not stick to the Micropore tape upon removal.

While we offer UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3 Day Select shipping options, this does not guarantee your order will arrive the day after or two days after it is placed. We place orders with express shipping on priority fulfillment and do everything possible to ship them as soon as possible, usually with same day service. UPS express shipping options do not provide Saturday delivery, so orders placed for Next Day or 2nd Day service on Thursday or Friday may not make delivery until the following Monday. Orders with subtotals of over $200 will be shipped with signature required.
