These jars will work best with wood-loving strains.

All jars are hydrated and sterilized via pressure cooker at 15 psi for 90 minutes and then shipped out within 12-24 hours. Lids come equipped with a self-healing injection port and also a breathable synthetic filter for clean gas exchange.

In order to inoculate the jars you will need to obtain mushroom spores or a liquid culture (NOT INCLUDED). These can be found easily for purchase on the internet. Simply inoculate each jar with 2-4 cc's of your spore solution, or up to 10 cc's of liquid culture. Leave your jars in a dark place with the room temperature set between 68°-78°, until they are fully colonized.

It is always best to inoculate your jars ASAP. If you are unable to inoculate right away, they should be used within 7 days. If you need to wait longer than 7 days I recommend you refrigerate them until you are ready.
